About the Surgical Facility

At San Mateo Surgery Center, our primary focus is your safety and comfort.  Our operating room is certified just like a hospital operating room and carries Medicare accreditation meaning it has satisfied the most stringent of codes. Located (where?) this exceptional facility was designed to make our patients feel at home and at ease.  A separate entrance ensures your privacy.  Because our practice is dedicated to plastic Surgery procedures, the Surgery center features specialized state-of-the-art equipment. The center carefully maintains the ultimate in sterile conditions. Our staff is highly trained and familiar with the procedural routines exclusive to our specialty. Your anesthesia will be administered by a board certified anesthesiologist.
 
Once you have sufficiently recovered, you will be escorted to a discreet exit with reserved parking for your ride home.  If it is predetermined that you require overnight assistance, a local transfer to a skilled nursing facility will be arranged where Dr. Beck or Dr. Brink can easily attend to you if necessary.  Patients can also request in-home nursing assistance.  
 
To keep up with demand, we are in the process of expanding to accommodate the busy schedules of our patients. 

Surgical Unit Team

Victoria Romero

You may meet Victoria at the front desk, or in the exam room.  As a medical assistant with 6 years experience, she schedules appointments, prepares exam rooms for minor Surgery and assists with post operative bandage changes. She also coordinates our inventory and manages our computer programs to keep the office running efficiently.

Mark Moreno

Nothing is more important to us than your safety and care. A licensed surgical technician, Mark is an important part of our surgical facility team. He brings a perfectionist’s attitude to the operating room and central supply in preparation for every procedure.
